On 26/03/08, the good people of
Eighteen Chefs gave a warm welcome to a group of students from
Elias Park Primary School. Accompanied by their
teacher-in-charge, Madam Mazlinah Haji Mohd Noor, together with
2 other teachers, they arrived at our restaurant at 10 am that
eventful Tuesday morning.
Soon after their arrival, everyone was seated comfortably and
the restaurant manager handed out brochures which contained information of the restaurant as well as the head chef. The
students were also told of what to expect from the student set
menu which was also highlighted in the brochure.
They were thrilled when the head chef, Mr Benny Se Teo was
introduced to them. Soon everyone was lined-up in an orderly
fashion as they collected their home-made iced lemon tea. The
main course of pasta of creamy white mushroom and tangy tomato
chicken sausages were served according to the rows they were
seated.
After the main course, they were delighted to be treated with
chocolate chip ice-cream for dessert. Our head chef went to
their individual tables only to receive good feedbacks about the
food served earlier. The students also took photos with him and communicated warmly.
In a nutshell,, everybody left with a full stomach feeling happy
and satisfied at 11.30am. It was a wonderful experience for all
the students, teachers and staff of Eighteen Chefs.
