18cafe ( Eastpoint, Simei) has always been THE pitstop for me & my girlfrens to meet & catch up wt each other. Besides the food & the cosy ambience that kept us coming back, we are indeed very comfortable with the staffs there. Even though occassionally I do see different faces, but 1 thing particular thing that remain unchanged was the service behaviour adapt by all staffs there. My recent "stopover" was on Wed 04 Mar @6.30pm, moved me to write this email, in particular to compliment your "examplary" service staff FARHAN. I classified myself as a "monthly" regular customer, ordering the food is still a "great task" for us. On every visit we still struggles with the order forms. FARHAN was "very alert & efficient" when we asked for help. What impressed me was that when i complimented him on his efficiency , he humbly & casually replied that he did not come over to our table earlier to offer his assistance as he had noticed that my friend & I were engage in conversation & he did not want to interupped us. WOW..Even though his thoughfully act seems "small" but coming of service industry myself, I personally feels & agrees that if we make customer customer feels important, they will not only keep coming back but also "talk" about the cafe & recommend to others. Words of mouth are very powerful right! The sincere service delivered by Farhan was clearly "read" thru his body language, even when we were actually seated for almost 10mins talking & totally forget that we have yet to order our food. Quoting his senior staff (did not get his name) comment "good job Farhan!" To the management of 18cafe, Farhan is indeed 1 of the valuable assets that will keep your cafe going strong & successful. Not forgetting ALL the servcie crews on duty that day (Wed 04 Mar 09) @ Simei Outlet, keep up the good service guys ! Remember , good service that comes from the heart is THE SERVICE that customers looking for.. Serve with a Passion. Kudos to all . Mazni Abu Samad
